Mission-Vision

 

In keeping with the spirit of the African Union, the mission of AFP is to empower African Women through the emergence of a united and integrated Africa and its Diaspora; to build a shared vision for a sustainable development aimed at taking up common challenges. AFP will accomplish this mission through four approaches:

Training to women and capacity building, Market Place to empower, Creating and implementing projects

Promoting African resources and sustainable development.

Our goal is to connect talented women who participate actively in the emergence of a new Africa and its diaspora community. We intend to promote and develop the entrepreneurship of African women worldwide by valuing and developing their talents.

With the AGOA program, we build a Strategy for Sustainability

“Supply Chain Development and Competitiveness under AGOA: Making AGOA Work for SME’s in the Handicraft, Beverage, Ethnic Food and Spice Industries”

A matchmaking Business- to- Business networking program took place in Miami last September 2018


followed by aSME competition for export ready companies in the handicrafts, apparel, beverages, ethnic food and spice industries. The contest was designed to give maximum exposure to SMEs’ products from AGOA eligible countries from throughout the Sub Saharan region of Africa. A selection committee comprised of a team of judges that included investors, buyers, a custom broker, a development organization, and a technology expert, evaluated each of the products for their market access qualification. The products were presented in clusters by country and assessed on the following criteria; Product Availability - quantity, quality, price; Social Benefit/Impact; Product Economy of Scale; Production Capacity; and Export Readiness of the Product which includes: licensing and FDA export approval. Clusters were selected from five countries, namely, Cameroon, Guinea,  Kenya,  Nigeria, and Ghana  which was selected during a previous competition.

 

 

CREATING AND IMPLEMENTING PROJECTS

 

Among our projects, we have created “Belle Femme Performante” Cosmetics line. A wonderful and important brand that represent quality in skin and hair care with authentic Argan oil and shea Butter. Natural, organic wonderful products. A combination of Argan Oil & Raw Shea Butter made with love for our beloved members and customers. Pioneering fair trade through Community Commerce within our network.

50% of “Belle Femme Performante” Community Commerce and Network sales go to women-led businesses, to support our Global Organization AFRICA FEMMES PERFORMANTES. We founded Community Commerce to support our vision and to empower women and help them increase their businesses. Our products are manufactured by a Morocco’s leading personal care experts for over 40 years with exports reaching over 55 countries across all continents.
